What We Do
From Start to Finish

TRIO Student Support Services is a federally-funded, comprehensive support program for first-generation and limited-income college students. The goal of the program is to offer every possible form of support for participants along with their journey to graduation from Grand Valley State University.

Gain all the benefits of being in TRIO Student Support Services by applying today! As an active participant you will have access to an advisor, peer mentors, graduate school visits, cultural immersion, community engagement, and much more. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

TRIO Student Support Services offers holistic and personal advising to all participants. You can meet with any TRIO professional staff member. All appointments are currently virtual or by phone unless a different accommodation is requested.

2024-25 Individualized Service Assessment (ISA)

Each year every TRIO SSS Classic participants are required to fill out a new Individualized Service Assessment. To make this an easier process, this is online.
